Visiting Scholar Lecture: Why Do We Suffer?
Suffering is perhaps the most formative force in all of human experience and it sits at the very heart of the gospel itself. We, therefore, must seek a robust understanding of how to navigate it with both theological sensitivity and humility. Old Testament scholar, Dr. Bob Chisholm, presents on the book of Job and its response to the question "why do we suffer?" and its implications for the Christian life.

Join Shiloh Society for another staggering film from Terrence Malick. A Hidden Life follows the life of a devout Austrian Catholic named Franz Jagerstatter as he continually refuses to cooperate with the Nazis at increasing cost to himself and his family during World War II.
